Ahmedabad will host the international kite festival at Sabarmati Riverfront from January 10 to 14 and it will see participation from a considerable range of domestic and global kite lovers, a senior federal government functionary mentioned on Wednesday.

“The kite festival will see participation of 120 kite flyers from 8 states and 74 foreign kite flyers,” tourism minister Jaynarayan Vyas reported.

Chief Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the celebration in presence of Governor Dr Kamla, he claimed.

Sanjay Kaul, MD, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Confined, explained concept pavilion depicting history of kites, foodstuff court, craft bazaar and adventure distraction are some of the extraordinary points of interest prepared for this yr.
