Ahmedabad Is The “trade Hub” For Cows Bound For Slaughter

It seems that Ahmedabad has slowly become a center of commerce for slaughter of cows for beef. Although the trade and cow slaughter is banned and punishable as a law recently introduced, the cows in the city through different routes, and without fear.

After entering the city, these cows dump vehicles in places where the illegal slaughter of cattle is widespread. “These areas are Juhapura, Sarkhej, Mirzapur, Dariapur, Dani Limda, Gomtipur and Bapunagar,” said Sharma. He said the cows captured or bought from places like Godhra, Dees, Palanpur, Radhanpur and villages in the north and Gujarat then transported to the city to be slaughtered.
