“Students receive a first hand experience of community life, which includes training in plumbing, meditation, spinning charkha on and after the routine way of life Gandhi. Besides this, students will be introduced at the thought of Gandhi on peace and conflict resolution, and discipline themselves, “said the rector at Gujarat Vidyapith, Sudarshan Iyengar. The example of Spain, Jesuit priest Father Wallace, who spent a large part of his life in Ahmedabad to write children’s books in Gujarati was a shining example of the commitment of teachers of Spanish education in the city.
The formalization of the MOU will be completed in December this year, while sharing programs will begin in 2012. “The MOU is a milestone reached in the history of Gujarat Vidyapith. Now we expect more of these Memoranda of Understanding with several foreign universities,” said Iyengar.
