A day, after two women were gangraped and robbed by a group of 15 people, was the local crime branch (LCB) of Ahmedabad police responsibility for the matter. Police have no leads so far in the case.

Women working in construction, builders lived in the village petrol pump Chekla Sananda Taluka. The incident occurred hours after midnight on Thursday, when the crowd has become a petrol pump and defeated four male members and children of women in the family.

Three of them then proceeded to rape the women. The victim, who is from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh were to go to their place of origin on Thursday.
