The Pune crime unit arrested a software engineer based in the city and owner of the call center based in Ahmedabad with the alleged Rs 30.50 lakh worth of cocaine in his possession, on Wednesday morning. They held about the race. Police said he is the greatest distance of drugs in the city.

Police identified the suspect 22-year-Ved Kasam Murtuza, who lives on the road to Shivarkar Wanowrie, and 24, Taran Patel Ranchodbhai, which is a resident of Road Science City in Ahmedabad. They would have had 610 grams of the substance in their possession. Police also seized a car worth 6 lakh RS Patel.

A team led by police inspector Sunil Tambe arrested after a peak outside. Speaking to reporters, the Deputy Police Commissioner Bansode (crime) Rajesh Patel said the city until the shipment of drugs and the duo went into a trap set by police.

They grabbed at 11:30 and the shipment is found in the car with a registration number in Gujarat.

Police say Patel has a call center that takes care of business for a life insurance company, while Murtuza, who worked as a software engineer with a company based in Magarpatta, had recently lost his job. Police said Murtuza, who comes from a middle class family, was “doing nothing” and wanted to make money and therefore contacted Patel. When police arrived, the duo were in search of clients.

Police suspect Murtuza primarily a consumer of smuggling, and Patel was introduced by someone in their common areas.

Grams of cocaine is available in the market town of anything between Rs 5000 and RS 7000, depending on the purity of the substance. International markets, the cost is five times more traffic.

Police are now asking, where Patel was drugs, and were probably the customers as Murtuza.
