It’s official. The immigration office at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport will have the support of the Central Intelligence Bureau later this year.

A delegation of officials IB officials will meet representatives of state government in the first week of August, in this regard.

The delegation will be finalized and probably chalk a plan of action for this purpose. Officials of the knowledge of the development said that the management of labor migration will eventually be fully supported by the Central IB.

“The delegation will meet with officials from the state government in the first week of August. The visiting team evaluates the IB system currently in force in the immigration office. From now on, all I can say is that the work related to immigration will be totally absorbed by the central body, “an official said on condition of anonymity.

Sources said the work of immigration at the airport was late, become sensitive and important.

Given the rise in international passengers and the number of international charter flights, immigration-related work at the airport was more than doubled, the sources added.

Official data says that many foreigners had come to the country through Ahmedabad as he had become a transit point for international non-scheduled. In the last three years, the number of flights increased by 55%. Therefore, in addition to customs clearance, labor migration has also increased.
