A principal of an industrial training institute, which is based Vadgam and Mehsana, killed himself, “to experience and understand” death, police said today. “My act is not suicide, but an attempt to experience and understand death” said the suicide note left Devmani Ramesh, Principal Industrial Training Institute (ITI), based at Vadgam in Mehsana. Devmani jumped Narmada irrigation canal near the village of Gandhinagar Jhundal County yesterday, police said, adding that he ended his life after his strong desire to experience death.
“Every time I go to the funeral on an occasional or a neighbor, I would like to develop a strong curiosity to know death, because it is a mystery unsolved puzzle of mankind” Devmani wrote a suicide note. Died in the incident mentioned in the note he had known years ago, where he was close to “meeting” with death.
Devmani wrote in his suicide note that a month ago when a boy in his neighborhood took his life, he went to the Narmada canal. “In the light of peace and calmness on the forehead of the dead child, I had a sudden urge to jump into the canal and the death experience myself,” he wrote. “I know that all world must die some day, but as a writer and a man, I am constantly confronted with a sense of death experience for me, “he writes, adding:” I take this step (suicide) to know what there after death.
