South Korean two-wheeler manufacturer, S & T Motors Corporation, in collaboration with Pune Garware Motors, on Wednesday launched its brand Hyosung of 650-700 cc superbikes in India in a price range of Rs.4, 75,000 to Rs 5, 69,000 (ex showroom Delhi).
“We looked at the market very closely and we expect a great potential for the superbike segment in India,” said S & T Motors Chairman Taekwon Kim said.
Superbikes offers GT650 R and ST 7. R GT650 is a 650cc sports bike price Rs.4, 75,000 unique timbre and Rs.4, 90,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) in two shades of color.
ST Model 7 is a 700cc cruiser bike priced at Rs 5, 69,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
“It gives us immense pleasure to be the first company in India to launch superbikes in the segment from 650 to 700 cc. We see great potential of these bikes in India”

The company also said that Pune will start bookings for April 20 bikes, while deliveries will commence in mid June
Initially, the bikes will be available only in Pune, Mumbai, the country’s capital, Bangalore and Goa. The company plans to open five more concessions in Hyderabad, Cochin, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Chandigarh in the next 2 months.
Garware, the company plans to offer a wide range of S & T Motors Superbike.
Superbikes would be assembled at the assembly plant of General Motors Garware in Wai, Maharashtra, which was operationalized with an investment of Rs.20 crore.
The plant has a production capacity of 8-10 cycles per day.
