While similar is the scenario at their counterparts in most of the other major parts of the country, the Gujarat Police is also very much set to face any of the communal outbursts due to the Ayodhya verdict on the coming Friday.

The authorities have said that the cops will be all geared from Tuesday itself as additional forces have also been arranged for already. Joint commissioner of police for sector 1, Satish Sharma recently said that police will be on its toes to ensure that there is no communal riot in the state.

Moreover, the Joint commissioner also said that the police has already started patrolling the road and checking the hotel rooms to keep an eye who is coming to the state.

He also pointed out the local police station have also been told to take care of the petty crimes and internal clashes, as they are also important to be taken care of even in the period of communal riots.

It is an appeal from the Police authorities to not to believe the rumours and should only confirm news with the police control room in case of doubt.
