India elect to bat in Kanpur Test

KANPUR – Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat against Sri Lanka in the second cricket Test at Green Park stadium here Tuesday.

India made two changes to their side. Fast bowler Ishant Sharma has been replaced by S. Sreesanth while leg spinner Amit Mishra makes way for left arm spinner Pragyan Ojha who will be making his Test debut.

Sri Lanka has brought in mystery spinner Ajantha Mendis in place of injured Dammika Prasad.
