Panaji (PTI): In all 36 summer special trains will run on Konkan Railway Corporation’s route to clear the extra summer rush in addition to the 208 summer special trains announced earlier, a railway official said.

“These 36 special trains will run between Ahmedabad-Madgaon and Bhavnagar-Kochuveli,” the KRCL official said.

Train number 0909 Ahmadabad-Madgaon special train will run every Sunday from April 12 to June 07, 2009. The train will leave from Ahmedabad at 1125 hrs and reach Madgaon at 0740 on next day. Train number 0910 Madgao-Ahmadabad special train will run every Monday from April 13 to June 08, 2009. It will leave from Madgaon at 0910 hrs and reach Ahmadabad at 0640 hrs next day.

The train will halt at Anand, Vadodara, Ankeleshwar, Surat, Navsari, Valad, Vasai Road, Bhiwandi, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Ratnagiri, Kankavali and Thivim. It will have 18 coaches. Train number 0945 Bhavnagar-Kochuveli special train will run every Saturday from April 11 to June 06, 2009.

It will leave from Bhavnagar at 2010 hrs and reach Kochuveli (Kerala) at 1540 hrs at 1540 hrs on third day.

Train number 0946 Kochuveli-Bhavnagar special train wil run every Tuesday from April 14 to June 09, 2009. The train will leave from Kochuveli at 0850 hrs and reach Bhavnagar at 0845 hrs on third day.

The train will halt at Sihor, Dhola junction, Botad, Ranpur, Limdi, Viramgam, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Madgaon, Karwar, Udupi, Thokur, Mangalore junction, Kasargod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Shoranur, Thrisur, Ernakulum town, Kottayam and Kollam.
