Ahmedabad: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has decided to include Gujarati food in the special package for the Goa Carnival.

The first IRCTC package from Ahmedabad for Goa carnival was announced by Pravin Parmar, Chief Regional Manager IRCTC who said it was for the first time that IRCTC has launched a special package from Ahmedabad. The special package will include a to and fro ticket, air conditioned hotel accommodation, vegetarian meals, tourist escorts including sightseeing. The package which begins from February 20 will be from Ahmedabad-Vadodara-Surat-Mumbai-Goa and back to Ahmedabad.

Parmar said on an average two tours are organised every month. He said that the tours are subsidised and IRCTC does not get huge profits.
