Ahmedabad (PTI): A city-based doctor Dr Hitesh Shah, who was missing , has been found murdered on Saturday, said police sources.

The gynaecologist, having his hospital in Paldi area, was missing since 9.30 pm on Friday night and his wife had registered a missing complaint on the same night around 1.30 am.

“His wife, in her missing complaint, said Dr Shah had called her around 9 pm while leaving from hospital to his home. Meanwhile, he went missing and his wife informed the police regarding the same,” said a police official of Ellisbridge police station where the missing complaint was lodged.

Meanwhile, his body was found on Saturday in Vatva area and police are investigating the case for more details, police sources said.
