Jet Airways takes delivery of ATR 72-500

Jet Airways enhanced regional connectivity between Ahmedabad, Indore, Bhopal, Raipur and Hyderabad cities with its new ATR 72-500 aircraft in an all economy configuration.

Jet Airways has also introduced an additional frequency on the Ahmedabad- Mumbai sector. Jet Airways’ flight 9W 2408 will depart Ahmedabad at 0030 hrs, arriving in Mumbai 0150 hrs, thus offering the airline’s international passengers convenient connections. On the return leg, flight 9W 2407 will depart Mumbai at 0245 hrs, arriving in Ahmedabad at 0405 hrs.

Commenting on the enhanced frequencies, Mr. Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, Jet Airways’ Chief Executive Officer said “With smaller metros like Bhopal, Raipur and Indore growing at a fast pace, we believe that there is a strong demand for better connectivity in these areas. The airline is confident that the introduction of its services on these routes will prove popular and convenient for passengers”.

Having tailor made its schedule to suit the business traveller, Jet Airways is the only airline to offer a convenient same-day return option on the Ahmedabad-Indore sector.

Jet Airways’ flight 9W 3417 will depart Ahmedabad at 0630 hrs, arriving in Indore at 0750 hrs. Jet Airways’ flight 9W 3417 will then depart Indore at 0820 hrs, arriving in Bhopal at 0905 hrs.

Flight 9W 3417 will then depart Bhopal at 0935 hrs, arriving in Raipur at 1105 hrs. This will be the first ever direct service between Bhopal and Raipur.

Flight 9W 3417 will once again depart Raipur at 1135 hrs, arriving in Hyderabad at 1315 hrs, making it the airline’s first direct service between the two cities.

On the Indore-Hyderabad sector, Jet Airways will be the first airline to arrive in Hyderabad from Indore. This flight will have two stopovers at Bhopal and Raipur en-route to Hyderabad.

On the return leg, flight 9W 3418 will depart Hyderabad at 1440 hrs and arrive in Raipur at 1615 hrs. Flight 9W 3418 will then depart Raipur at 1645 hrs and arrive in Bhopal at 1815 hrs. Evening flight 9W 3418 will depart Bhopal at 1845 hrs, arriving in Indore at 1930 hrs. Flight 9W 3418 will depart Indore at 2000 hrs, arriving in Ahmedabad at 2120 hrs.
