Vivek Shah of Ahmedabad chapter of the Public Relations Society of India has taken over as the national vice-president of the Society. .He will look after the Western Region which covers states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa , Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh. Shah is immediate Past Chairman of Ahmedabad Chapter.

Vivek Shah is credited with turning around the Ahmedabad Chapter of the Society after he took over as Chairman in April 2005 for a two year term. The Chapter won awards in both years of his chairmanship, including the Best Performance Award, which he received in Delhi in 2006.

Recognizing this, he was elevated as National Vice President for the Western Region in the PRSI national council meeting recently. The decision was unanimous and welcomed by all communication professionals.

A renowned Corporate Trainer and a Communications Consultant, Vivek Shah is a visiting faculty to leading communications and management institutes. He brings with him 23 years of rich and diverse experience in the field of Human Resources, Corporate Communications and Management Training.

Widely travelled in India and abroad, Kolkata born and Delhi educated Vivek Shah has authored four books. His last book “Reflections from the Past” published by Ahmedabad Management Association was recently released.
