AHMEDABAD: The property tax department of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) will start issuing tax bills for the newly merged areas in new west zone shortly.

Senior officials add that final print orders for Bodakdev area is almost complete and the circulation of the bills will start soon. “It will take close to three months before we finish distribution of bills in the entire new west zone. There were issues with the software used in the preparation of bills due to which the process got delayed.”

Notices issued to sweet shops: Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health seluths swooped down on eight major sweet shops in Maninagar, Isanpur and Uttamnagar areas including Ketan Chauhan sweets, Gokul dairy, Bhagwati sweets, and Sree Nagar sweets and issued notices to these shop owners.
