Tremors were felt today early morning in Kutch and parts of Saurasthra making people panicky. No untoward incident was reported but people rushed out of their homes in Kutch, Jmanagar and Rajkot.
According to official reports the intensity of quake was 4.5 on Ritcher scale and the epicenter was in the desert of Kutch. The impact was so much that tremors were felt in Rajkot, Jamnagar and Junagadh and neighbouring areas.
Some people in Ahmedabad also felt earth shaking but there is no official version for the tremors.
