AHMEDABAD: The Gujarat High Court has quashed a public interest litigation filed by an advocate seeking direction to the Centre to wage war against Pakistan to eliminate terrorism.
A division bench comprising Chief Justice Y R Meena and Justice Akil Qureshi also imposed Rs 15,000 as cost on the petitioner R K Shah on Thursday.
In the petition, the advocate appealed to the court to issue necessary direction to the Centre and cited the example of invasion of Afghanistan by the USA after the terror attacks on September 11, 2001
